The CMC is pleased to announce some of our recent
fundraising and local donations. Thank you to everyone
who helped make them a success!
In February 2010, the CMC announced a donation of $1465
to the
Chelmsford Public Library in support
of children's programs. The success of our Spring and
Fall Tag sales made this donation possible. Look for
more information about our 2010 sales on our website.
A combined fundraiser at the Toy Shop of
Westford
and Papa
Gino's in November 2009 raised over $250 which
was given to local families in need.
Back by popular demand! Jean Comerford of Portraits in
Silhouette returned to the CMC in November 2009. Over 2
days, she created beautiful, one-of-a-kind silhouettes
for over 35 children. The money raised by the
silhouette fundraiser will be used for member programs.
Jean will be back in
November 2010 so look for more information as we
get closer!
In Summer 2009, the CMC donated 3 swings and a
picnic
table to the Open Space at Hart Pond. Directly
off the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail and near Rt. 27 and
Kate's Corner, Hart Pond is a lovely place for families
to stop to swing, picnic, play on beach and watch
the rail trail and pond traffic.
