Square 1 Art Fundraiser 2008

Celebrate children's creativity with products that display their artwork! They make great gifts and keepsakes for the holidays – t-shirts, mugs, clocks, calendars, mouse pads, notepaper, aprons, ornaments, tote bags, etc can be ordered with your child's artwork on it. Even infants can participate in this project.

To participate, we ask that your child create a piece of artwork on good quality square paper (8.5” square). Art paper and instructions are available from Wendy Miller, who is coordinating this CMC fundraiser.  Alternatively, you can use your own high-quality white art paper cut to 8.5”square - let Wendy know if you have questions about using your own paper.

Please follow the special artwork instructions and see the artwork samples (What to avoid, Great Themes, Art Requirements, and Square 1 Art Examples) in order for the artwork and products to turn out nice.

We are holding a special children’s event at the Chelmsford Main Library on September 19 from 11am – 1pm for you to come in with your child(ren) and create masterpieces there.

All artwork is due by September 24 to Wendy.

Each piece of artwork (max of 2 per child) submitted will be returned to you as a magnet proof with a product order form.

Project Dates:
September 24 Return artwork to Wendy
October 8 Free magnet proof and order forms will be distributed to participants
October 19 Order forms returned to Wendy
November 19 Products distributed at General CMC meeting

The more people who participate and order products, the more money the club makes. We make 33% on each item ordered. The fundraiser earnings will be used to plan a special children's event later in the year.

The club fundraiser, “Favorite Family Recipes” Cookbook features nearly 300 recipes submitted by members, including a section just for kids! You’ll find ideas for letting kids help in the kitchen, allergy-free recipes and tips for getting picky eaters to eat. Plus some long-held secret family recipes.

Now just $5 per book, while supplies last!
