Community Service Corner
A big thank you to everyone who helped make cards at the
library event for the children featured in
Make A Child Smile. These children have illnesses that keep them in
the hospital for long periods of time, and they don't receive a lot of
cards, so all the cards we made and sent were sure to brighten their day.
The cards we sent ranged from pictures drawn by the younger crowd, to
thoughtful messages by the older kids, and all were just heartwarming! Thank
you all!
Our Adopt A Family Campaign this year was a success with over 20 of us
pitching in to make the holidays a little brighter for 13 local families
in need. We worked with Chelmsford Food Pantry and Lowell Wish
Foundation, and everyone was very grateful for the generosity in giving
the gifts. Thank you!
Upcoming events will be a
Valentines Card making and a delivery parade. We'll make
Valentines for our Senior
Citizens in town, and then deliver them as part of a valentines
day parade.
